Sprinklr is a US platform for corporations that sells social media management, social listening, advertising and customer service in separate suites on a shared foundation. It suits large organisations with many brands, markets and teams. According to the sources, it is not meant for small teams with a fixed budget. The interface is available in German, and you set the hosting region in the USA or Europe in the contract. Sprinklr only gives prices after a demo (as of October 2026).
What is Sprinklr?
Sprinklr is enterprise software for customer experience management that companies use to manage their social media channels, analyse online conversations and handle customer enquiries. According to its company history, the vendor is Sprinklr, Inc. in New York, founded in 2009 and listed on the NYSE. According to the legal notice, in Germany there is Sprinklr Germany GmbH in Hamburg.
Sprinklr consists of four suites. Sprinklr Social covers publishing, engagement and employee advocacy, Sprinklr Insights social listening. Then there are Sprinklr Marketing for advertising and Sprinklr Service for customer service. According to the Our Story page, all suites run on one code base.
Because management and listening are both documented, we rate Sprinklr in both pillars, so the page shows two scores.
What can Sprinklr do?
According to the vendor, Sprinklr covers planning, approvals, inbox, listening and analysis, spread across several suites. The documented features at a glance:
| Area | What the sources document |
|---|---|
| Planning | editorial calendar with posts, events and campaigns, AI texts with Sprinklr AI+, link in bio |
| Approvals and team | multi-stage and parallel approvals, roles, IP restriction, audit trails, governance across brands and markets |
| Inbox | engagement dashboard for all channels, automatic routing via the rule engine |
| Listening | 30+ channels in real time, firehose for 10+ channels, 400,000+ media sources, podcasts, review sites |
| Analysis | logo recognition in images and videos, sentiment in 100+ languages, LLM Insights for ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity |
| Alerts | real-time crisis alerts, publishing stop on negative spikes |
| Technology | REST API, webhooks, MCP server, app for iPhone and iPad, 100+ integrations |
Approvals can be finely controlled. According to the publishing page, they can be differentiated by channel, account and message type. Companies involve employees via Sprinklr Advocacy with its own app for Android and iPhone.
Advertising and comprehensive customer service are separate suites. Social advertising across 10+ channels belongs to Sprinklr Marketing, care across 25+ channels including WhatsApp to Sprinklr Service.
In listening, broadcast coverage is limited: according to the help centre, TV and radio come via LexisNexis from 2,100+ stations in the USA, Canada and the UK; Sprinklr does not name German-language stations. Print is named as a source, but the scope for DACH is not documented. Boolean search is not officially documented. According to the help centre, historical data for X goes back to the third quarter of 2014, and the TV archive up to 2 years. According to the help centre, Sprinklr captures podcasts with transcripts for 5,000+ top podcasts.
Who is Sprinklr for, and who is it not for?
Sprinklr suits corporations and large organisations that manage many brands, countries and teams in one platform and need strict approvals and permissions to do so. According to the Trust Center, SSO and several security certificates are documented, plus an API with an MCP server.
Sprinklr is also interesting for companies that want to bundle social media management, listening and customer service with the same vendor, even if that means several suites. If you want to involve employees as brand ambassadors, Sprinklr Advocacy is a separate module for that.
Sprinklr is a weaker fit if you are a small team, want to start quickly or cancel monthly, because the term is fixed in the contract. There are no public prices and no trial. If you mainly need to monitor German-language TV, radio and print sources, the sources contain no evidence for that. You will find simpler tools for planning and answering under social media tools.
How much does Sprinklr cost?
Sprinklr does not publish prices; according to the vendor page, you only get a price via “Get Pricing & Personalized Demo”. There is no separate pricing page. Social, Insights, Marketing and Service are separate suites.
A free version or trial is not documented. According to a Sprinklr notice, an earlier self-serve offer with trial access has been discontinued, with end of service on 30.04.2026.
The contracts are binding. According to the FAQ on the master agreement, the term from the order form applies, termination for convenience is excluded, and you pay the fees in advance with 30 days’ payment terms. The suites are in the price overview, as of October 2026.
Data protection and DACH: servers, DPA, language
Sprinklr’s data location is mixed and depends on your contract. According to the subprocessor list, as of 01.10.2026, Sprinklr hosts in data centres in the USA and Europe with AWS, Microsoft and Google. The order form sets the region; without it, the USA applies. Support, security and engineering teams in the USA, the UAE, Singapore and India have remote access, and transfers run via standard contractual clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
A Data Processing Addendum in version 2.10 from May 2026 governs data processing. For Europe, a master agreement under Swiss law with jurisdiction in Bern is provided. The Trust Center names ISO 27001, SOC 1 Type II, SOC 2 Type II, PCI-DSS and FedRAMP.
According to the help centre, each person can switch the interface to German, with 17 languages in total. German-language support is not documented.
Our assessment
By our methodology, Sprinklr has a very broadly documented range of features in both pillars, management and listening. Approvals, governance, security certificates and a German interface are densely documented.
Deductions arise on transparency and data location: no public prices, no trial, a fixed term without termination for convenience, default hosting in the USA and a vendor based in the USA.
Our assessment: for corporations in DACH, Sprinklr is a documented option if you explicitly agree the EU region in the order form and precisely define the suites you need. For everyone else, the effort is high. On OMR Reviews, Sprinklr stands at 4.0 out of 5 stars from 38 reviews (retrieved on 13.10.2026); this does not feed into our score.
How the score is calculated
The score is not a hands-on test verdict. It counts which checkpoints of methodology v1.4 are documented with a source for Sprinklr. “Not documented” means we found no evidence, not necessarily that the feature is missing. Read the methodology
